  • Strawberry Guava - A unique combo that tastes great

  • Exotic Pineapple - Not sure what makes it exotic, but has a pleasantly different taste than a classic pineapple

High Noon was one of the first Vodka seltzers and they set the bar high. Can definitely taste the difference between a malted seltzer and one made with real spirits

  • Black Cherry - Another classic flavor. Has a great real cherry taste

  • Watermelon - Sweet and refreshing

Trader Joe's offers a low cost seltzer that has great taste for the low price.

  • Mango - Everyone has a Mango seltzer, but not all are great. This is a solid one

Topo Chico Hard Seltzer - Margarita Pack

Topo Chico releases their 2nd pack dipping into some classic margarita flavors infused with salt, lime, and tequila

Flavors:

  • Classic Margarita - Says it in the name, it's a classic lime and tequila taste

  • Strawberry Hibiscus - A flavor combination that has been gaining a lot of steam. A good combo of sweet with a hint of floral

  • Tropical Pineapple - Similar to their exotic pineapple flavor, but with that margarita twist

  • Prickly Pear - Prickly Pear (or cactus) is huge in the south and is getting more attention in other regions. It's a great tart flavor that works perfectly with tequila

High Noon Hard Seltzer - Lemon

A solo flavor pack from High Noon that I'm sure will be included in a new variety pack at some point.

Not much description needed, the Lemon flavor is natural and refreshing.

White Claw Surf - Pack 1

White Claw's first flavor combo pack does not disappoint. One of the OG's in the seltzer game continue to put out unique and delicious packs.

Flavors:

  • Citrus Yuzu Smash - Yuzu is a lemon and lemon is a citrus fruit, so the name is a little redundant. Either way, still a great flavor.

  • Tropical Pomelo Smash - Refreshing, but still with some sweetness. You'll be a fan if you like grapefruit.

  • Watermelon Lime Smash - Watermelon and Lime have been paired together more and more. Great combo that cuts some of the sweetness of the watermelon with the tartness of the lime.

  • Wildberry Acai Smash - My favorite of the pack. A great berry flavor that is unique from the classic ones out there.

Two Chicks - Sparkling Paloma

Two Chicks is a premium canned cocktail. The Sparkling Paloma tastes exactly likes it sounds, the classic Grapefruit and Tequila taste, with a splash of soda to add some fizz.

Fizzy Beez Organic Honey Seltzers

Fizzy Beez is a craft canned cocktails from Columbus, OH. If you couldn't tell, these are all made with real honey and it really comes through in the taste. These Seltzers are awesome and I can't wait for them to come to Michigan.

Flavors:

  • Cosmo

  • Margarita

  • Moscow Mule

  • Mojito

White Claw - Pack 2

White Claw is a classic seltzer and does a great job of having a subtle hint of flavor that isn't too overpowering. This pack holds up to the White Claw standard.

Flavors:

  • Watermelon - One of my favorite Watermelon seltzers. A subtle hint that doesn't overpower you

  • Lemon - Refreshing and tastes like a nice sparkling lemon water

  • Tangerine - One of my favorite seltzers. Tangerine is not utilized enough, but White Claw does a great job with it

  • Passionfruit - Thankfully, White Claw replaced Mango in this pack with Passionfruit. Not the best of the passionfruit seltzers, but I appreciate not sticking with Mango in 2 packs

  • Mango - Mango was one of the original White Claw flavors so it made sense for White Claw to include it in pack 2. I'm glad they removed it though after also including it in Pack 3

The Finnish Long Drink - Cranberry

The Finnish Long Drink is back adding Cranberry to the classic gin based canned cocktail. The Cranberry adds a little more flavor, which I enjoyed.

Corona Hard Seltzer - Tropical Pack

Another pack from Corona. They get a little more tropical with this one bringing some more exotic flavors than the other packs.

Flavors:

  • Citrus-Lime - An orange flavor with a lime twist

  • Watermelon-Lime - A classic flavor combo. Has a nice mix of watermelon and lime

  • Spicy Pineapple - A real nice pineapple taste with just a hint of some spice that is not too overpowering

  • Mandarin-Starfruit - Possibly one of the best of the packs. 2 flavors that don't get used too often. Definitely is a Unique taste, in a good way

Canteen Vodka Soda Seltzer

Seltzers made with real spirits will always have an advantage over the malted ones. Canteen holds true to that with some good flavors of their own.

Flavors:

  • Black Cherry - A classic seltzer flavor that goes great with the real vodka in Canteen

  • Watermelon - Another classic flavor that also goes great with the real vodka

  • Strawberry - An under utilized flavor, especially for being such a standard fruit. Canteen uses it well and the flavor is great

Florida Seltzer - Pack 1

Florida Seltzer by Untitled Art has some unique flavors with appealing packaging. These tend to be more on the sweet side, but the flavors are good and strong, which give you a unique seltzer.

Flavors:

  • Prickly Pear Guava - A combination you'll probably not see anywhere else, but Florida Seltzer does it well. Both fruits are a little tart, but they do a great job of balancing it with some sugar and passionfruit puree

  • Blackberry Agave - Another unique combo that went well together. Blackberries are great and the Agave gives it a slight margarita feel

  • Blood Orange Pomegranate - Another unique and delicious flavor combo. The citrus of the blood orange works great with the sweet and tart taste of the pomegranate

  • Pineapple Mango - A more classic flavor combo, this has a nice tropical feel to it. It is probably the sweetest of the pack

Mom Water - Pack 1

Mom Water is a Zero Carbonation hard seltzer. The flavors are pretty solid. The only thing that is tough with these is getting passed the lack of carbonation, which makes the seltzers seem flat.

Flavors:

  • Sandy- Coconut Mango

  • Julie- Passion Fruit

  • Linda- Blueberry Peach

  • Karen - Lemon Blueberry

White Claw - Pack 3

Another great pack from white claw that gives us flavors we all know, but that aren't all used too much for Seltzers

  • Strawberry - Kiwi

  • Raspberry

Mamitas Hard Seltzer - Pack 1

A great tequila seltzer that utilizes some traditional margarita flavors that pair well with Tequila.

Flavors:

  • Lime - A classic with tequila. Tastes like a good tequila and soda

  • Pineapple - Another great fruit to pair with tequila. The sweetness of the pineapple goes great with the agave in the tequila

  • Mango - Another classic tequila pairing. A unique Mango taste to the other seltzers

  • Paloma - A flavor that does not get talked about enough with tequila. The Citrus of the grapefruit is an awesome flavor in this

Simply Spiked Lemonade Seltzer

The widely recognized Lemonade Giants at Simply hopped into the seltzer game with one of the best tasting Lemonade seltzers out there. These taste exactly like the flavored lemonade's and are great on a hot day. The only downside is they are higher on the calorie side (170cal) without any additional alcohol.

Flavors:

  • Traditional Lemonade

  • Watermelon

  • Strawberry

  • Blueberry

Canvus Premium Canned Cocktails

Canvus is a Canned cocktail from Boone County Distilling from Cincinnati, OH. These drinks are very good. Some of the flavors sound a little odd, but they do a great job balancing them so they all taste great.

Flavors:

  • Raspberry Lemonade

  • Bourbon Lemon Spice

  • Bourbon Mule

  • Cucumber Jalapeno

Corona Seltzerita

Corona does not get enough shine in the seltzer game. The seltzerita's are their spin on the Margarita flavors that are blowing up in the seltzer world.

Flavors:

  • Classic Lime - It's in the name. Lime is a classic for a margarita

  • Strawberry - I'm all in to get more strawberry seltzers

  • Mango - Another classic margarita flavor. Does well in this pack

  • Peach - Not a flavor you see too often in a margarita, but nice flavor that adds some more sweetness

Nutrl Lemonade Seltzer

I have no idea if it's Neutral or Natural (probably neutral), but another vodka based seltzer that is great. The Lemonade pack is on the sweeter side, but tastes like different variations of a vodka lemonade.

Flavors:

  • Classic Lemonade - Tastes just like a vodka lemonade

  • Blackberry Lemonade - A big fan of blackberry, this doesn't disappoint

  • Peach Lemonade - Great natural taste

  • Strawberry Lemonade - Classic and delicious

Two Chicks - Lemon Strawberry Kiss

Two chicks are expensive, but great. Lemon Strawberry Kiss tastes like a high-end cocktail that uses Lemon, Strawberry, and Basil mixed with Vodka

Bacardi Rum Pack

Definitely more of a canned cocktail opposed to a seltzer. These will be a favorite for any rum fans that want an easy tropical drink

Flavors:

  • Sunset Punch - Tastes like pineapple juice, grenadine, and rum. Can't go wrong

  • Mojito - One of the most popular rum drinks. Mint, rum, and some simple syrup

  • Rum Punch - Very similar to the sunset punch. Might also have some orange included. Great and reminds me of a rum runner

Superbird Spiked Paloma

Superbird is premium Tequila-based canned cocktail company. Their Paloma drink was one of the better tasting Paloma canned cocktails I've had, even though some of the others I was with did not think so.

The Finnish Long Drink - Zero

Tastes like a gin and squirt. I was corrected by Long Drink themselves, that this is a ready to drink cocktail, not a seltzer. Still reviewed it, still great.

Plus 0 calories and is connected to Mile Teller. What's not to like.

Vizzy Hard Seltzer - Mimosa Pack

Vizzy is the only seltzer I know of that tied a brunch favorite drink into a seltzer. Gotta love the creativity and choice of flavors.

  • Pineapple Orange - A great combo

  • Peach Orange - Sweet and sour. Don't hate it

  • Pomegranate Orange - an unexpected combo that doesn't disappoint

A surprise drop by the Canadian beer makers. The tart pack is does a great job of adding some sour without over doing it.

Flavors:

  • Pineapple - A great sweet and sour taste

  • Passion Fruit - A flavor that is becoming more popular. Great twist with the added tartness

  • Mango - If you're going to do a classic flavor, add a twist, which they did

Mighty Swell - Keep it Weird Pack

Mighty Swell is an Austin based Seltzer and this pack holds true that using the Austin mantra of "keep it Weird"

  • Rocket Pop - A different flavor combo that plays off the Bomb pop

  • Purple Magic - Another unique group of flavors. Wasn't my favorite of the pack, but still good

Odd Side Ales - Bomb Pop

A Michigan Craft Brewery that has put out a lot of seltzers. The bomb pop is the classic Ice cream man poopsicle that everyone knows and loves

Ranch Water Seltzer - Pack 1

Named after a popular Texas cocktail, Ranch Water uses some classic southern flavors for a unique taste that you'll either love or hate.

Flavors:

  • Classic - A classic Ranch Water is basically a Tequila Soda with lime. That's exactly what you get with this

  • Ruby Red - A somewhat sweeter grapefruit flavor

  • Prickly Pear - A classic Texas flavor. Solid

  • Spicy - A subtle hint of spicy that gives you a little kick, but is not overpowering

Flavors:

  • Lemonade - Classic and a strong sweetness

  • Blood Orange - Delicious and the Blood Orange cuts some of the sweetness

  • Blackberry - Really good, a little on the sweet side

  • Strawberry - A classic with Lemonade

The Canadian breweries first seltzer. They do a great job of having subtle flavors and using different combinations than the other big breweries.

Flavors:

  • Black Cherry Lime - Tastes like a better version of a cherry limeade

  • Tropical Grapefruit - No idea what they do to it, but my favorite Grapefruit seltzer by far

  • Mango Lemon - A nice twist to a classic seltzer flavor

  • Blood Orange Blackberry - A combination of 2 of my favorite flavors

Corona Hard Seltzer - Pack 2

The massive beer company's second seltzer pack. They don't get enough love for how consistently good their seltzers are.

Flavors:

  • Pineapple - I knew a pineapple flavor would be introduced at some point. One of the better ones

  • Strawberry - Team Strawberry

  • Raspberry - Surprisingly not used a ton. One of my favorite in this pack

  • Passionfruit - In the middle ground of the other passionfruit seltzers, but still solid

Michelob Ultra Seltzer - Essential Pack

Michelob continues to be an under the radar seltzer. These are always refreshing and solid. The essential pack has a little bit more flavor than the other Michelob packs, which can be good or bad depending on the person, but these are still solid either way.

Flavors:

  • Strawberry Guava

  • Kiwi Lime

  • Berry Hibiscus

  • Blueberry Watermelon

Mighty Swell Seltzer - Pack 1

The original Mighty Swell pack has some delicious flavors that are, like Austin, a little weird, but all are solid. There's no going wrong with any of these flavors

Flavors:

  • Peach

  • Cherry-Lime

  • Watermelon-Mint

  • Blackberry

Alani Hard Seltzer - Pack 1

Mostly known for their energy drinks, Alani hopped in the Seltzer game with a solid first pack.

Flavors:

  • Hawaiian Shaved Ice - Not sure what flavor this is exactly, but I'm a fan

  • Mimosa - A classic orange taste with a subtle champagne kick

  • Peach, Please - Love the name. Just a good peach taste

  • Frozen Lemonade - Appreciate the "frozen", but this is just Lemonade. Still goo

Dogfish Head Distilling Co. - Pack 1

Dogfish Head is a brewery that decided to get into the canned cocktail game. These canned cocktails are delicious and a great variety. At 7% these will give you a good buzz and taste great.

Flavors:

  • Strawberry Honeyberry Vodka Lemonade

  • Blueberry Shrub Vodka Soda

  • Blood Orange & Mango Vodka Crush

  • Lemon & Lime Gin Crush

Sauza Agave Cocktail

Sauza is a large tequila brand that has now decided to enter into the canned cocktail realm with their agave cocktails. These bad boys are strong at 8%, but do a fairly good job of not having that overpowering alcohol taste.

Flavors:

  • Strawberry Breeze

  • Black Cherry Smash

  • Lime Crush

  • Tropical Twist

Brooks Brewing - Watermelon Seltzer

Brooks Brewing is a local brewery in Ferndale, MI. I got to try the watermelon seltzer, which is a limited release for them. It was very good, especially for being a craft brewery seltzer. It was even better with the Watermelon beer added to it.

The Watermelon seltzer may be gone, but they are making new flavors every week. Stop in and try one.

Two Chicks - New Fashioned

Delicious and Expensive. The New fashioned is their twist on a cocktail classic. Not as good as a classic old fashioned, but still solid and I appreciate the effort.

Bud Light Seltzer - Sour Pack

I'm not a huge fan of the Bud Light Seltzers, but they did a solid job with this pack. A little too strong of a flavor to have a bunch of, but none of them disappointed

Flavors:

  • Watermelon - Tastes like a watermelon warhead

  • Blue Raspberry - They could have called this the warhead pack, because this tastes just like a Blue Raspberry warhead

  • Lemon - There's a theme here

  • Green Apple - Surprisingly the only apple flavor I can think of for a seltzer. Kudos to them

Fruit Smash Seltzer - Pack 1

New Belgium Brewery's attempt at a hard seltzer. Craft Brewery seltzers can be hit or miss. These were a hit.

Flavors:

  • Berry Blast - Great berry flavor

  • Pink Lemonade - Everyone knows it, but I have no idea what makes it Pink

  • Tropical Punch - a nice fruit flavor that reminds me of a classic fruit punch

Deep Bay Seltzer - Pack 1

Deep Bay is a Vodka/Gin and Soda based seltzer. Anytime you use real spirits in a seltzer, it will taste good. These are solid, but could use a little more flavor.

Flavors:

  • Lime (vodka)

  • Citrus Mint (gin)

  • Grapefruit (Vodka)

  • Cranberry/Pomegranate (Vodka)

Hornitos Tequila Seltzer - Lime

Hornitos is an underrated tequila. This is a classic lime flavor that tastes just like your having a tequila and soda

Alani Hard Seltzer - Seltz on the beach

Gotta love the name. The second pack from Alani that goes after some classic cocktail flavors.

Flavors:

  • Raspberry Mojito - The artificial mint flavor is tough. Good attempt, but could be better

  • Lime Margarita - a classic

  • Pina Colada - Another classic cocktail flavor done well

  • Strawberry Daiquiri - A little on the sweet side, but not bad

Bevy - Long Drink

Long Drink is the national cocktail of Finland and is a Gin based cocktail. Bevy makes their version in this Seltzer.

Bud Light Seltzer - Cocktail Hour

The kings of releasing new packs, bud light gives a decent pack here going off of some classic cocktail flavors.

Flavors:

  • Tropical Punch - A classic Rum Punch/Runner. A little on the sweet side, but not bad

  • Lime Margarita - You can't have a cocktail pack without throwing some sort of margarita in there

  • Strawberry Daiquiri - Another classic. A little on the sweet side

  • Watermelon Mojito - The Mint flavor is hard to do. They, like many, didn't do to well

Vizzy Hard Lemonade Seltzer

Another solid Vizzy pack. As with any lemonade pack, this is a little on the sweet side.

Flavors:

  • Raspberry Lemonade - Refreshing, not too sweet for the pack

  • Watermelon Lemonade - Not a normal combo with lemonade, but I was a fan

  • Strawberry Lemonade - A must for a lemonade pack. A little sweet

  • Peach Lemonade - Another classic lemonade flavor. The sweetest of the pack

Corona Hard Seltzer - Pack 1

The Beer giants first attempt into the hard seltzer game. One of the better ones from the big breweries.

Flavors:

  • Tropical Lime - It's just lime. Not bad, but nothing tropical here

  • Mango - Not sure what they did, but one of the better Mango seltzers

  • Cherry - When everyone else is going Black Cherry, Corona goes to a classic cherry. Good for them

  • Blackberry Lime - One of my favorites from Corona

Bravazzi Hard Italian Soda

These taste exactly like described. A real nice Italian soda taste. A little on the sweet side for what I want in a seltzer, but the flavor is great.

Flavors:

  • Clementina - Clementine is an under utilized flavor for seltzers. Would love for one that isn't as sweet as this. This is good for the pack

  • Blood Orange - Classic Italian soda flavor

  • Limonata - A lemon soda. One of the less sweet ones

  • Grapefruit - Another good flavor to cut some sweetness

Mimosa Breakfast Seltzer

Breakfast Seltzer is the brand on this one. Seems like it's a hard find, but not bad. Love the packaging.

Smooj Hard Seltzer Smoothie - Pina Colada

Smooji is doing something unique making hard seltzer smoothies. The texture is a little tough to get over, but the flavor is great.

Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer - Pack 2

Michelob is known for being a low carb beer, so it makes sense to hop into the seltzer game. They do a great job of having a subtle hint of flavor. It may be a little too subtle which lowers their score.

Flavors:

  • Citrus - Mainly a lemon lime taste. Great on a hot day

  • Mixed Berry - Not the best to me, but not bad

  • Mango Apricot - Gotta add a twist with a classic flavor. Good job

Lil Yum Seltzer - Brew Detroit

Brew Detroit is a local Brewery that makes it's own beer as well as making beer for some other local brands. The Lil Yum Seltzer is a Cherry Lime or a Strawberry Kiwi (it was a little delayed in trying this compared to when I got it).

Branch Water Seltzer - Watermelon

This is a seltzer by Blakes farms, a Michigan Farm/Apple Orchard that is more widely known for their ciders. The Branch water seltzer was ok, but the watermelon taste was a little skunky

Bud Light Seltzer - Hard Soda Pack

Another decent pack from Bud Light. These ones are a little too sweet for me, but you'll be a fan if you enjoy a pop.

Flavors:

  • Cola - Tastes pretty close to a coke

  • Cherry Cola - Just like above, tastes similar to a cherry coke. My favorite of the pack

  • Orange Soda - "kal loves Orange soda" Sean.... not so much

  • Citrus Soda - An attempt at a Sprite or 7 Up. Not bad, but the biggest difference in taste to the Pop equivalent

Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer - Pack 1

The first pack from the low-cal beer makers. Michelob's are a very subtle hint of flavor that are good, but could use a little more kick.

Flavors:

  • Spicy Pineapple - Not really any spice. Not bad

  • Cucumber Lime - I'm not a huge cucumber fan, but this wasn't bad

  • Peach Pear - Would have loved some more flavor to come through

Smirnoff Seltzer - Red, White, and Berry

This is a less sweet version of the classic Smirnoff Ice version. I'd much rather have this than the ice.

Mike's Hard Lemonade Seltzer

A classic underage drink of choice, these are a slightly less sweet version of the Mike's hard we all had in high school.

Flavors:

  • Lemon - Obviously

  • Mango - Nothing new here

  • Strawberry - See the comment for lemon

  • Pineapple - Something different. Not bad

Pina Colada Seltzer from North Center Brewery

This hard seltzer is from a local brewery in Northville, MI. Craft Breweries are hit or miss on seltzers. I enjoyed this and only wish it was always on tap.

Truly Seltzer - poolside Pack

Truly is one of the biggest seltzer brands out there. I'm not much of a fan. They have an artificial sweetness that doesn't sit well with me. The poolside pack isn't bad and if you like Truly, you'll probably like this.

Flavors:

  • Strawberry Melon Fizz - Was hoping for this to be great. Kind of taste like trident gum that has a similar look

  • Orange Peach fizz - Not bad. Would have been better without the artificial sweetness

  • Kiwi Mojito Style - Again, hoped for the best, but mint is very tough in these

  • Pina Colada Style - Tastes like a very fake pina colada

Bud Light Seltzer - Summer Retro Pack

Nothing but Packs! That's the motto for bud light. This pack was fairly good, but definitely on the sweet side.

Flavors:

  • Cheery Limeade - Tastes just like it came from Sonic

  • Blue Raspberry - Big slurpee vibes

  • Summer Ice - Not 100% if this was the intent, but it tastes like a Bomb Pop

Natural Light Seltzer - Pack 1

One of the King's of college beer, Natty light got into the seltzer game. They focused a little more on creative names than good seltzers, but, like the beer, I can see these being a hit with the college crowd.

Flavors:

  • Catalina Lime MIxer - A call out to the movie "Step Brothers", the name is great, the seltzer is meh

  • Aloha Beaches - A peachy drink with another great name. A little too sweet to be really enjoyable

  • House Rules - Going after the college crowd with this, house rules is Strawberry Kiwi

  • Zest I ever had - These all get a 10 for naming. This strawberry lemonade flavor is the sweetest of the bunch though

Smirnoff Seltzer - Seasonal Pack 1

Smirnoff comes from Vodka fame, so it was surprising that they went with a malted seltzer instead of a vodka one. Either way, these seltzers aren't bad, but could definitely be better.

Flavors:

  • Blackberry - a great fruit, could have used more of the flavor in this

  • Raspberry - Another solid fruit, but didn't come through enough

  • Peach - Most peach seltzers are extremely sweet. This one was not too bad

  • Cranberry Lime - A Christmas flavor, to me. Didn't hate it

Petoskey Brewery - Michigan Cherry Seltzer

Petoskey Brewery is a Michigan Brewery near Traverse City. Like many Craft Breweries, hard seltzers can be hit or miss. This one wasn't bad, but had that classic Brewery taste.

Coors Light Seltzer - Orange Dreamsicle

Coors light seltzer is one of the worst major brewery seltzers out there (despite also producing Vizzy, which is solid). Also, I am not an Orange Cream fan. However, with all that being said, this was actually pretty solid. If you like Orange Cream, you'll like this.

Dos Equis Hard Seltzer - Pack 1

The beer company known for "the most interesting man" comes out with their ranch water based seltzers. These were hit or miss for me, which might just be the case with most ranch water seltzers. There's potential here, but not my favorite.

Flavors:

  • Classic Lime

  • Blood Orange

  • Mango

  • Spicy Grapefruit

Cantina Especial - Ranch Water

This might be a classic example of not doing a review when your team is blowing it on the national stage. Cantina Ranch water tastes like a classic Tequila Soda. I might've just been a little angry when doing this.

Detroit City Distillery - Paczki Head Seltzer

Every year Detroit City Distillery releases a special Paczki (classic Polish pastry) vodka. They also released a Paczki seltzer, I assume using the same process they did with the vodka. The seltzer wasn't my favorite, but I thought it actually had a decent Raspberry Paczki taste to it.

Ascension Brewery THICC Anti-Seltzer - Blue-Nana Cabana

Ascension Brewery is a local brewery in Novi, MI. I have no idea what an Anti-Seltzer is, but it's their thing. The Blue-Nana Cabana is a blueberry banana flavored seltzer. It's not bad, but something is weird about it.

Truly Extra Seltzer - Peach Mango

Truly's attempt at the strong seltzer. The Peach mango is good, but still has that Truly taste, which unfortunately comes out even more with the higher ABV.

Cherry Fruited Seltzer by North Center Brewery

North Center Brewery in Northville, MI is a small local brewery. This was their first attempt at a seltzer and they did a great job of not falling into the classic brewery seltzer taste. Although it's not the best seltzer out there, this was refreshing and a nice change of pace from the rest of the beers on their menu.

Kirkland Signature Seltzer

Costco's very own hard seltzer. These are classic flavors and are not bad especially given the lower price tag. There's better options out there, but these are not bad and are a good bang for you buck.

Flavors:

  • Mango - Classic mango seltzer

  • Lime - Nothing too out of the ordinary from other lime seltzers

  • Black Cherry - Not bad, but a little on cough medicine taste

  • Grapefruit - Another classic flavor. Not too bad, but nothing special

Odd Side Ales Seltzer - Pina Colada

Odd Side is hit or miss for their seltzers. Some have the classic brewery taste, which I am not a fan of. Some are really good and can compete with the top dogs. Pina Colada was a little in between. It wasn't bad, but still had that brewery taste.

5 Shores Brewing - Raspberry Seltzer

5 Shores Brewing is a brewery in Beulah, MI, which is about 45 min from Traverse City. Beulah is a small town, but the Brewery is awesome. They have a great outdoor area and allow dogs! The Seltzer was just average, which is normal for a brewery, but I'd recommend heading over and checking this place out if you're in the area.

Quirk Hard Seltzer from Boulevard Brewing

Quirk is the hard seltzer produced out of Kansas City's Boulevard Brewing. Craft brewery seltzers are always a little iffy, but I thought these did a good job of having solid flavors without having too much of the brewery seltzer taste.

Flavors:

  • Hibiscus Lemonade - Very refreshing, but would have liked it to be a little lighter. Overall solid

  • Watermelon Salt & Lime - Throwing salt into a seltzer can be risky, but I thought they pulled this off fairly well

  • Grapefruit Twist - A very citrusy seltzer. If you're a fan of citrus, you'll enjoy this

  • Pear Yuzu - Not enough pear flavors out there. I enjoyed this, but I can see it not being everyone's cup of tea

Witch's Hat Seltzer - Bumble

Witch's Hat Brewing Company in South Lyon, MI is a local craft brewery in the North West Metro Detroit area. The Bumble seltzer has Blueberry and honey flavors, which aren't bad, but still have some of the Brewery taste.

White Claw Surge - Pack 1

White Claw surge is White Claw's attempt at the stronger ABV seltzers. Most of the stronger seltzers have a heavy fake alcohol taste that is not the best. White Claw is no exception, although these are better than some of the other "Stronger" seltzers out there.

Flavors:

  • Blackberry - A great flavor in the pack 3, the surge is ok, but has the fake alcohol taste

  • Cranberry - a new flavor for White Claw. This was ok in the surge, but I would be curious how it tastes as a classic White Claw

  • Blood Orange - Another flavor I would love to see as a classic. This was, unfortunately, my least favorite of the Surge flavors

  • Lime - a classic flavor. Not bad, but the higher ABV didn't help it

Seagram's Hard Seltzer - Pack 1

The popular spirit maker gets into the seltzer game. I would have hoped that Seagram's would have created seltzer's using real liquor, however, they stuck with the traditional method of malting, which seems like a miss.

Flavors:

  • Mango Peach - a usually great combo, this was just meh

  • Tropical Pineapple - Not sure what makes it "tropical", but again, this was just ok

  • Mixed Berry - Mixed berry seems to be a very difficult flavor for seltzers. Not sure if anyone has a best one

  • Watermelon Lime - Would have preferred more watermelon taste

Short's Soft Parade Seltzer

Soft Parade is a well known beer, liked for it's fruity taste and higher ABV. The Soft Parade seltzer plays off that, with a lighter feel. My biggest issue with this seltzer is the same issue I have with the beer... It's too sweet. If you're a big fan of sweet, you'll like this. To me, it's too sweet

Flying Embers - Sweet & Heat Pack

I had never heard of Flying Embers, but saw this pack at the store and decided to give it a try. They overall weren't too bad, but could have been better. I will definitely try another pack from these guys, but probably won't have this pack again.

Flavors:

  • Pineapple Cayenne

  • Guava Jalapeno

  • Watermelon Chili

Del Mar Wine Seltzer

One of the first Wine Seltzer's I have seen. These were ok, but I couldn't tell if the weird taste I had was from the wine or something else.

Flavors:

  • Watermelon - Not bad, but again, there's a weird taste

  • White Peach - Again, not bad, but weird taste

  • Grapefruit - Same as above

  • Black Cherry - Rinse and repeat

Cacti Agave Seltzer

Travis Scott's Seltzer made with Agave. I would have assumed that this would be solid, but had a weird taste.

Flavors:

  • Pineapple - Not the worst flavor, but still had something weird

  • Lime - The worst flavor by far

  • Strawberry - Again, not bad, but something off about it

Ice Spiked Seltzer

Everyone has probably seen the Ice seltzers at some point. I wasn't a huge fan of those and the hard version isn't much better. These just don't have much flavor and the flavor they do have is just meh.

Flavors:

  • Cherry Lime Chiller - Some minor cherry lime flavor, but just ok

  • Rubby fizz - Possibly my favorite of the pack, but just ok

  • Lemonade Refresher - Was hoping for some more refreshing taste, but not too sweet, which is nice for a lemonade seltzer

  • Strawberry Citrus Smash - I don't taste any strawberry in this, but it's still ok

Beaches Seltzer - Cocktail Pack

Beaches is the hard Seltzer brand from Short's Brewery in Michigan. The seltzer's have a little bit of the Brewery taste to them, which knocks them down a few points, but these weren't as bad as most Brewery seltzers.

Flavors:

  • Margarita

  • Paloma

  • Mojito

  • Pina Colada

WayUp Tropical Vision Seltzer

WayUp Tropical Vision comes from Hopewell Brewing Co. located just outside of Chicago. This seltzer blends in Pineapple, Mango, and key lime. Overall, I thought the flavor was pretty solid, but it fell victim to that brewery seltzer taste.

Hell's Seltzer

Hell's Seltzer comes to us from everyone's favorite angry chef, Gordan Ramsey. The name is based off of his show Hell's Kitchen. With these seltzer's it seems like Ramsey tries to bring a little bit of elegant desert tastes to the seltzer game. Unfortunately these do not live up to the quality that you would expect from Ramsey. The flavors are just ok at best, and awful at worst. I think Gordan needs to stick to the kitchen.

Flavors:

  • That's Forked - Key Lime, Vanilla, Graham

  • Berry Inferno - Peach, Blueberry, Raspberry

  • Mean Green - Kiwi, Lime, Mint, Pineapple

  • Knicker Twist - Passionfruit, Pineapple, Orange

Farm Stand Seltzer

Farm Stand Seltzers are small batch seltzers made out of Holland, MI. Overall, I didn't think these were too bad, but they had almost no flavor. If they could get some more flavor into the seltzer without adding too many calories, they could climb up the rankings.

Flavors:

  • Black Cherry

  • Pink Lemonade

  • Grapefruit

Press Hard Seltzer - Pack 1

This was one of the early seltzers I reviewed, so I only reviewed 1 flavor. I think Press is usually well liked, so I might have to give this another shot, but I thought the grapefruit cardamom was just ok.

Flavors:

  • Grapefruit Cardamom

  • Blackberry Hibiscus

  • Lime Lemongrass

  • Pomegranate Ginger

Vizzy Hard Seltzer - Pack 2

No idea what happened with Vizzy on pack 2. I'm usually a fan of their seltzers, but Pack 2 was just a miss. The flavors don't sound bad, but they just did not blend right. I would still recommend Vizzy, just not pack 2.

Flavors:

  • Blackberry Lemon

  • Papaya Passionfruit

  • Watermelon Strawberry

  • Raspberry Tangerine

Dragon's Share Bourbon Seltzer

Dragon's Share comes from New Holland Brewery in Holland, MI. As a Bourbon and seltzer fan, I had high hopes for this pack. Unfortunately, the seltzers kind of just tasted like a weird watered down bourbon, which makes sense in retrospect. These were all ok, however, the Cherry tastes like pure cough syrup.

Flavors:

  • Original

  • Cherry

  • Blackberry

  • Orange

White Gold Hard Seltzer from Stone Hound Brewery

Stone Hound Brewery is a craft brewery in Traverse City, MI. This was not a bad seltzer, but pretty bland. It was meant to be a lemon-lime, which you got hints of, but it just didn't have that extra punch of flavor I would have wanted.

Cherry Whiskey Highball Seltzer - Traverse City Whiskey Co.

If it's not obvious by the name, this seltzer comes from Travis City Whiskey Co. located in Traverse City, MI. The packaging describes this as whiskey + Cherry Seltzer. From having a couple different whiskey/bourbon seltzers, I think it's safe to say that Bourbon/Whiskey don't mix with Seltzer that well.

Truly Hard Seltzer - Punch Pack

I say it with every Truly review, I'm not a fan of Truly's. They have a weird taste that I can only assume comes from the artificial sweetener they use. The Punch pack had the same taste as always, but were somehow even sweeter.

Flavors:

  • Fruit Punch

  • Berry Punch

  • Tropical Punch

  • Citrus Punch

Guardian Brewing Seltzer - Tropical & Dreamsicle

Guardian Brewing is a brewery in Saugatuck, MI. These seltzers had the classic brewery taste. I'm not a big Dreamsicle fan, but the Dreamsicle seltzer here was actually better than the tropical.

Bud Light Seltzer - Out of the Office Pack

Can't knock the hustle from Bud Light. They have the most flavors out there by far of any other seltzer brand. They aren't always that good, but gotta love the effort. The Out of the office pack is their attempt at cocktail inspired seltzers. As is the case with most Bud Light seltzers, these were just ok.

Flavors:

  • Watermelon Mojito

  • Classic Lime Margarita

  • Mango Mai Tai

  • Strawberry Daiquiri

Truly Hard Seltzer - Holiday Party Pack

This is the one time that Truly did a pack better than someone else, in my opinion. The Holiday party pack is still not great, but they at least went for some actual flavors that make sense in a drink instead of the weird novelty flavors that Bud Light puts out.

Flavors:

  • Pomegranate Ginger Fizz

  • Cran Orange Sparkler

  • Spiked Apple Spice

  • Holiday Sangria Style

Truly Hard Seltzer - Tea Pack

I'm not a Truly fan and I'm not a Tea fan, so I'm actually surprised at the score on this pack. If you like tea, you might actually enjoy this.

Flavors:

  • Strawberry Tea

  • Lemon Tea

  • Raspberry Tea

  • Peach Tea

Bud Light Seltzer - Flannel Pack

They do not quit. Bud Light decided that there needed to be a pack for fall. I appreciate the effort, but most of these were not great. I will say though, if you're a pumpkin spice person, you might actually enjoy the pumpkin spice flavor in this pack.

Flavors:

  • Apple Crisp

  • Maple Pear

  • Pumpkin Spice

  • Toasted Marshmallow

Griffin Claw Hard Seltzer - Pack 1

Another Michigan Craft Brewery that let me down. Griffin Claw is a local brewery located in Birmingham, MI. As always, I wanted this to be good, but the seltzers were way too much on the brewery seltzer taste.

Flavors:

  • Raspberry Lime

  • Kiwi Strawberry Lemonade

  • Mango Pineapple Citrus

  • Limoncello

Wild Basin - Berry Mix Pack

I might not know how to pronounce Basin, but I do know that these were not good. This was the OG seltzer review, so I only tried 1 of the flavors on camera, but I can assure you that none of these were good. Cool packaging though.

Flavors:

  • Black Raspberry

  • Yumberry

  • Blueberry Mango

  • Strawberry Coconut

Bud Light Seltzer - Holiday Pack 2

I'm convinced that Bud Light will release a new holiday pack every year until seltzers are not big. The second edition of the holiday pack was just as bad as the first. I've never enjoyed these packs, but I will continue to try them. Kudos to you, Bud Light.

Flavors:

  • Cranberry

  • Sugar Plum - I have no idea what a sugar plum is, but this was actually pretty decent

  • Seltzer Nog

  • Cherry Cordial

Social Sparkling Wine (Sake)

I'm not sure if this was bad because it was sitting in my fridge the whole time or if it was sitting in my fridge the whole time because it was bad. Either way, it was not too enjoyable. I think the only time I like Sake is when a hibachi chef is shooting it into my mouth while the whole table cheers "Sake!". Other than that, not a fan.

Flavors:

  • Elderflower Apple

  • Hibiscus Cucumber

  • Pink Grapefruit Ginger

  • Strawberry Rose

PBR Hard Tea Seltzer

I'm not a tea fan, but even the people who are did not enjoy these. The only redeeming quality of these were that my dumb brother had to chug an entire one and didn't spit it out. Can't say the same for some other seltzers.

Flavors:

  • Peach Black Tea

  • Lemon Black Tea

  • Raspberry Black Tea

  • Pineapple Passionfruit Black Tea

Arizona Sunrise Seltzer - Mucho Mango

The Arizona company that we all know and love decided to get into the seltzer game. I wish they didn't. The only way this seltzer could have been passable was if it was $0.99 in true Arizona form.

Bang Mixx Seltzer - Pack 1

The energy drink giants decided to get into the seltzer game. The Bang flavors are fine for a little pick me up every know and then, but as a seltzer, these were just awful. After the first sip, all of these were gross. If you're a really big fan of the energy drink, you might think differently, but not what I want in a seltzer.

Flavors:

  • Frose Rose

  • Pina Colada

  • Purple Kiddles

  • Strawberry Blast

Clear Coast Hard Seltzer - Pack 1

Clear Coast seltzers are from Perrin Brewing company, which is a local Michigan Brewery. Because of this, I wanted to like these. They are not good. Don't know exactly what it is, but don't bother.

Flavors:

  • Mixed Berry - This was the best of the pack, which isn't saying much. Not much berry taste, but I guess better than the others

  • Watermelon Lime - Again, not a lot of flavor, but what is there, isn't great

  • Mango Guava - I had so much hope for this. Horrible

Alaskan Hard Seltzer - Spicy Pack

Alaskan Hard Seltzers are from Alaskan Brewery. This was the spicy pack, and although there was not a lot of spice, there was more than enough flavor. Unfortunately, they weren't good flavors.

Flavors:

  • Spicy Chipotle - Absolute death

  • Spicy Ginger

  • Spicy Lime

  • Spicy Mango
